With winter settling in early this year, we've collected a few hearty recipes that are sure to warm you up!
This technique of hanging caciocavallo over fire began in southern Italy by shepherds who tied their cheese to trees and found that it melted into a delicious gooey consistency near their campfires. Hanged caciocavallo absorbs the smokiness of the embers to take on an even more delicious flavour.
Would it even be winter if you didn't get to indulge in a hearty lasagna? This pasta dish is well-loved by most and for good reason. This one is made with a classic ragu sauce and plenty of melted Scamorza Bianca cheese. Since it has such a good base, it's perfect to experiment with and add your favourite vegetables (or whatever you want to use up from your fridge). This recipe is sure to become a favourite that you'll go back to again and again.
This beautiful cake baked by our brand ambassador Julia Busuttil Nishimura, is a traditional Naples cake that is typically served during Carnevale for Martedì Grasso (Shrove Tuesday). Migliaccio translates to pudding due to its creamy and moist texture, helped by our Ricotta Delicata. This dessert is perfect for that sweet treat after a meal!
